Navigating the App
Virza is designed to be intuitive. Here’s a quick tour of the main areas.
Sidebar
The left sidebar is your main navigation:
- Library: Your complete document collection
- Collections: Organized groups of documents
- Notes: Your research notes
- Search: Full-text and semantic search across everything
- Trash: Recently deleted items (recoverable for 30 days)
Top bar
The top bar gives you quick access to:
- Upload: Add new documents
- Search: Quick search shortcut (or press
⌘K/Ctrl+K) - Notifications: Updates about shared items and mentions
Document view
When you open a document, you’ll see:
- PDF viewer: Read the original document on the left
- AI sidebar: Chat with the document, view summaries, and explore insights on the right
- Metadata panel: Title, authors, abstract, publication date, and citation info
Keyboard shortcuts
